We had an incredible young man visit Ujima Radio, Jonathan from the Maasai Tribe in Kenya talks to me about growing up as an ophan and the incredible charity work he does. He is in UK to raise money and for the MAYOO Youth Outreach Project. The youth project currently houses over 150 young girls feeling from FGM and arranged marriages. They also despeately need clean water supplies and with your help this can be done. At this time of year we can fritter money and spend money that we dont need to. Why not donate whatever you can afford to this incredible project. So far over 50 girls are in secondary educucation thanks to all the donations. Jonathan was also funded by an American family, he was orphaned at 5yrs old and they paid for his entire education right through to University and now he wants to give something back.
