History was made in Bristol on Sunday 7th March 2020 in response to the brutal killing in America of George Floyd a group of young activists decided enough was enough and under the banner of Black Lives Matter decided to organise a small protest not expecting more than a few hundred people. On the day there were well over 10,000 people.
I managed to collate some of the amazing speeches including the outstanding one by up and coming recording artist Delocx who left me in tears with his passion, Former Bristol poet Laureate Miles Chambars, Dawn Limbu, Jade Royal and her sister Dana with Lawrence Hoo's son reciting his poem Unite plus Jade aka Adjua and if you know any of the others please let me know...it finishes with a poem written and recited by the then 9 year old Tiana Nadine Mclean.
Thank you to contributors Angel Mel and Dawn Limbu for helping compile speeches.
